SyNergy scientist Lis deWeerd receives the 2026 Hirnliga Research Prizefor outstanding scientific work

Since 1993, the Hirnliga has awarded its Research Prize to directly support and recognize the scientific work of researchers. 

The €10,000 Hirnliga Research Prize is awarded for outstanding scientific research that brings new perspectives to the clinical study of neurocognitive disorders, particularly Alzheimer's disease.

In 2026, SyNergy scientist Lis deWeerd was awarded the Hirnliga Research Prize.
