Media Report: British scientist shares million euro award for Alzheimer’s research

A pioneering British dementia researcher is among four scientists to share a one million euro prize for their “crucial” work into Alzheimer’s disease. Professor John Hardy of University College London is joined by Prof Bart De Strooper, director of the UK Dementia Research Institute at University College London; Prof Michel Goedert of the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge; and Prof Christian Haass of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich in winning the Brain Prize from the Lundbeck Foundation in Denmark. more
